Are you an outstanding teacher with proven leadership qualities?

We are looking for a visionary and passionate EYFS Leader to take our strong foundation stage provision to the next level.

The successful candidate will aspire to achieve the highest levels of success through creating innovative and inspiring approaches to Early Years education.

Our EYFS

At Denbigh Primary School we are passionate about the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and committed to ensuring children receive the best start to their education. This is achieved through the perfect balance of free flow, play based learning and structured lessons.  We run an outstanding curriculum: underpinned by our values in The Arts; Sport and PE; and outdoor learning.

About our school

Denbigh is a successful, community-centred primary school with a track-record for providing outstanding support and career development opportunities for its teaching staff. We take pride in the breadth and quality of our curriculum provision: valuing sports, science, the arts and cultural development alongside English and Mathematics.  Our school is a hub of innovative and creative learning; and we widely encourage a cooperative learning philosophy.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be passionate about making a real difference to the lives of our children;
  • Be committed to continually raising standards in teaching and learning;
  • Provide a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment where all can thrive;
  • Take ownership of their own professional development and support the development of others;
  • Plan and teach lessons that engage, motivate and inspire children to achieve;
  • Communicate effectively with parents and other stakeholders

 We are proud to offer:

  • Enthusiastic, polite, well-mannered pupils who enjoy the challenges and experiences that we offer;
  • A friendly and supportive team;
  • A healthy work-life balance;
  • An inclusive environment where you feel valued;
  • Excellent cpd.
  • A dedicated and supportive leadership team.

Potential candidates are invited to contact Mrs McKiernan,  on 01582 571597, to discuss the post and to arrange a visit to the school.  This does not form part of the recruitment process.
