About the job
We require a Teaching Assistant who can support our pupils in all aspects of teaching and learning both in and out of the classroom. This is a Fixed Term position linked to supporting a pupil with an EHCP in Year 3 from April 2024 to July 2027 or until the child leaves.
The role is 30.25 hours per week working Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8.45am to 3.30pm (1hour lunch) and Tuesday 8.45am to 5.00pm (1 hour for lunch), term-time only plus 5 training days.
The successful candidates will:
· hold a relevant qualification at NVQ Level 2 or above
· have some experience of working with children with a range of special educational needs
· have a caring nature
· be able to communicate effectively with children and adults
· be able to work as part of a team
