We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious, and self-motivated person to join the Maths Team. This is a key role in providing a welcoming and safe environment for staff, students and visitors

The successful candidate will:

Be responsible for raising the profile of Numeracy and Mathematics across the academy on at least a weekly basis, both as a subject and for its importance to careers and future pathways.

Conduct an audit of Mathematics provision across the subjects and key stages.

Provide support and explore joint teaching opportunities to all departments in the understanding and delivery of Mathematics based elements of their curriculum.

•     Maintain a central record (included a subject matrix) of Mathematics across the academy.

•     Be responsible for organising, monitoring, and developing LPA interventions for Y7 and Y8.

•     Report regularly, on progress against the above activities.

Previous experience is desirable however full training will be provided for the right candidate.
