The Trust is passionately committed to the communities of Batley, Birstall, Dewsbury and our surrounding areas, serving our local learners and their families in order to secure excellent educational outcomes, partnered with high aspirations. Batley Multi Academy Trust currently comprises Batley Girls’ High School, Upper Batley High School, Batley Grammar School, Healey Junior, Infant and Nursery School, Field Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School and Manorfield Infant and Nursery School. We provide high quality education for all young people. This collaboration enables us to share expertise, knowledge and best practice to ensure academic and pastoral excellence throughout all of our schools, with all schools embracing the same overall ethos and values, whilst maintaining their own unique characters.

We are very proud of our achievements at Batley Girls HIgh School. ‘Students achieve exceptionally well in this outstanding academy. They make rapid and sustained progress’ (Ofsted, 2013). We have an ethos based around the ideas of Achievement, Respect and Transformation (ART). Respect for self, for others and for learning is at the core of everything we do.

Our 11-19 school is multi-cultural and located close to the town centre, within easy access of the motorway network. Our work is focused on developing the unique potential of every individual whilst working towards becoming an outstanding educational organisation. We are a vibrant, rich and exciting learning community with unique and inspiring opportunities inside and outside the classroom.

The Attendance and Pupil Support Officer will be a key member of the team who will help to promote the importance of high levels of attendance so that students can achieve their full potential. We are seeking a self motivated and enthusiastic individual who is able to organise their own workload and who is able to work with young people and families. The ability to drive a minibus is advantageous, however, training can be put in place for this.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive forward thinking Trust, who in return for your commitment and hard work, will support you to achieve your own career goals and aspirations.
