POST:                          1:1 Special Teaching Assistant

START DATE:         ASAP

SALARY:                    SENDAT Support Staff Pay Scale SP4-6

                                        £16,271- £16,815 per annum actual


LOCATION:            Priory School, Mount Road, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk IP32 7BH 

CONTRACT TYPE:  Permanent

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS:  

                                                                       30 hours  25 minutes per week/39 weeks per year  

                                                                       Monday to Friday 08:30 to 15:15

                                                                       Includes 40 minutes unpaid break each day

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a  1 to 1 Special Teaching Assistant to join the Learning Support team at Priory School. You will support teaching and learning, working with a student who has specific learning needs which cannot be met in a mainstream or other larger group setting. The role is provide 1:1 and small group interventions.  This is a challenging role, but incredibly rewarding as part of a team which works together to make a real positive difference to the lives of our most vulnerable students.
