About this Role
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed full-time
Teacher of Religious Studies, to join our dynamic department in delivering Religious
Studies across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. As a core subject at Notre Dame, each KS3
group receives five one-hour lessons over a two-week timetable. At KS4 all
students are entered for the Edexcel full RS GCSE, focusing on Catholic
Christianity, Judaism and Philosophy and Ethics, taught over five one-hour
lessons fortnightly. We also teach OCR Religious
Studies A Level (Philosophy, Ethics and Theology) with nine lessons delivered
fortnightly, and a weekly one-hour non-examination Culture and Faith Studies session
to all Y12 and Y13 students.
