About this Role

The Wroxham School is a one form entry school with a nursery. We are part of The Ivy Learning Trust and work with Alban Teaching School Hub. Inspired by the philosophy of Learning without Limits, our curriculum drivers are diversity, civic responsibility and equity.

Our children are very well behaved and our parent body is extremely supportive. We are an inclusive school in ethos and ensure that children are not limited or labeled by so-called ‘ability’.

Professional development and dialogue about teaching and learning is central to our way of working. All teaching staff have half a day of preparation and assessment time each week and are provided with a personal laptop. The wellbeing of our staff is valued highly and as such, you will be entitled to a 'wellbeing day' each year. There are high quality CPD opportunities available through the Ivy Learning Trust and the Alban Teaching Hub for every member of staff. As a result of being part of the Ivy Learning Trust there are many additional collaborative opportunities.

We aim to provide a happy, relaxed learning environment where every individual is valued, trusted and supported. It is an important part of our school ethos that every member of our community has a voice.

We can offer:

  • Membership of a happy forward thinking school;

  • Supportive colleagues;

  • Weekly non-contact time;

  • Annual well-being day;

  • A range of professional development opportunities through the Teaching School Hub.
