YOUTH WORKER (CATHOLIC FAITH MINISTRY)

Fixed Term contract -possible gap year opportunity to July 2025

Required September 2024 

MAC BAND C £23,500 (£12,463 pro rata to July 2025)

25 hours Monday to Friday, Term Time only 

(some evening/weekend working and occasional Bank Holidays).

This is a very exciting time to join St Edmund’s Catholic Academy as we continue our journey towards outstanding. Our extremely popular school is situated in leafy Compton Park, adjacent to the Wolves Academy training grounds, with its wonderful open fields and sports facilities.

We are looking for a pro-active, energetic, committed practising Catholic who seeks to spend a year at St Edmund’s working alongside our young people and supporting them on their faith journey. 

During the year, you will have a number of opportunities to develop leadership skills, to network with others in youth ministry, and to volunteer abroad, travelling with St Edmund’s to Lourdes for pilgrimage.  An exciting and varied role, you will support the Vice Principal and the RE team as they develop the Catholic life of the Academy.
