We are seeking to appoint a DSL to join our wonderful team here at Hillside, where we are part of the Academy Learning trust (ALT). You will be expected to take lead responsibility for safeguarding and child protection across the school (including online safety). They will take part in strategy discussions and inter-agency meetings, and contribute to the assessment of children. We would expect you to have high expectations for every child and an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the requirements of the primary curriculum.  An ability to work effectively across all age ranges of the school and as a team member is essential. We are seeking candidates who are enthusiastic, friendly and enjoy building successful relationships with staff and pupils alike.
