About Us: Finch Woods Academy is a specialist school for pupils presenting
with social, emotional, mental health (SEMH) and other complex needs. The academy
is currently experiencing a challenging period of improvement having gone
through significant changes to its leadership team over the past year. Manor
Hall Academy Trust are providing high quality and effective support to the
academy and this appointment will ensure that the new leadership team has the
breadth of expertise and experience to drive the academy forward to become a
leading provision of its type in the very near future.
Key Requirements: The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding operational and strategic leadership credentials, with a strong desire to embrace challenge. Knowledge and experience of working with pupils with SEMH would be an advantage to applicants. The Deputy Head will lead by example, and model the skills, attributes and characteristics to build positive relationships with all stakeholders.
