Core purpose of the
role:
To teach pupils within year 1 – 4, with responsibility for teaching one year group. To carry out other such duties that are reasonably assigned by the Head of School or line manager or within the National Teaching Standards.
Dedworth
Green First School is on the western edge of Windsor and was built in 1952 to
serve new housing being built in the area. We currently have around 170
children on roll and a staff team of 25 adults. Our main aim is to provide high quality
teaching and learning and to improve the enjoyment and education of all the
children in our care so that they can fulfil their potential and REACH for the
stars.
Our friendly staff team is clearly committed to providing a secure and happy environment in which all children are able to thrive socially, emotionally and academically. This is built on the strong relationships fostered by all members of the school community. Our children are highly motivated, well behaved and truly delightful to teach!
We are part of the Windsor Learning Partnership which includes Windsor Girls’ School, The Windsor Boys’ School, Dedworth Middle School, Clewer Green C of E First School and Oakfield First School, in the heart of The Royal Borough. We can offer:
• a school with a real sense of community
• professional, supportive and dedicated colleagues
• the opportunity to work across the Windsor Learning Partnership
• supportive leadership
I
thoroughly recommend a visit to the school to see DGFS in action and look
forward to meeting you then.
