Join a dedicated team committed to developing and encouraging a love for learning and scientific exploration. As a member of our school you will deliver captivating and interactive science lessons that foster a deep understanding and appreciation for the subject, incorporating practical experiments and demonstrations to make complex concepts relatable for students.

As a Teacher of Science you will and be the catalyst that propels students to the next level of their educational adventure! Your lessons will be infused with enthusiasm and a genuine love for science to inspire students on their educational journey. You will assist in helping student connect theoretical concepts to real-world applications, showing them the tangible and exciting side of the sciences. At Pinner High School, our pedagogical approach is based on the principles of Rosenshine. All our lessons begin with a do now activity, aimed at recalling knowledge. In addition, a high proportion of students are categorised as higher ability, we therefore expect appropriate challenge in learning. Learning episodes contain  challenge tasks in addition to main activities which support the progression of all students. Students often use green pens to self assess work and teachers use expert subject knowledge for assessment for learning.

Don't miss the chance to be part of an inspiring community where the love for science is the launchpad to a brighter educational future!
