About this Role

We seek to appoint an outstanding, highly motivated leader and teacher of English to join a dynamic and forward-thinking leadership team. The opportunity to be a secondary curriculum adviser (Assistant Headteacher) at Tudor Grange Samworth Academy is an exciting one. This senior role within the Academy presents the opportunity for a leader to develop their leadership skills in preparation for future leadership positions, including across Tudor Grange Academies Trust or as the leader of a school. This new role consists of development and maintenance of the whole-school Reading programme as well as the opportunity to implement our Trust wide Writing strategy.

General Information


At Tudor Grange Academy excellent teaching and learning is at the heart of all that we do helping students fall in love with learning, embrace a growth mindset and be successful.  We use Rosenshine’s 10 principles of instruction as a framework for our Quality First Teaching (QFT) programme.  All staff enrol on our Teacher Education Programme (TEP) to develop as researchers and learners to better the quality of provision in the classroom.  TGSA is a dedicated reading school.
