We are currently looking to appoint a passionate
and motivated Computer Science teacher to join our successful Science faculty. The
role would be teaching across key stage 3, and 4, with the possibility of
teaching at A level. The school is rated ‘good’ by Ofsted, and we continue to
strive for excellence, both academically and personally, for our children and
young people.
Computer Science is an important subject in the Science faculty
within the school and a popular choice at GCSE. It is a well-resourced subject
with two recently upgraded computer rooms. Students study Computer Science
across our three year key stage 3 curriculum. There are high levels of
engagement, and established resources. There is also an established link with other
schools in the Abingdon Learning Trust to share resources and ideas.
There are trips and projects that link
with local schools and wider organisations. This includes a coding club. This
aligns with a range of other opportunities in the Science Faculty such as eco-club,
Science club, aeronautic club, research projects and peer mentoring; you will
be joining a vibrant and creative team in a key faculty.

looking for the right candidate who is excited at the prospect of
joining us and taking such a key role in our continued success in Science.
