There has been significant financial investment to redevelop the school which has moved into its state-of-the-art new building and new sports facilities. The school continues to expand and we are again oversubscribed for Year 7 admissions in September 2024.

We are looking for an outstanding  Teacher of Geography to join our Humanities department. The successful candidate should be an excellent classroom practitioner, reflective in their teaching practice and focused on getting the best from every student across all key stages of the secondary curriculum.

The successful candidate will:

• Be qualified to degree level
• Possess a relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, Bed)
• Be an excellent communicator committed to leading an effective team within the whole school community
• Ensure high standards of teaching across the curriculum and have a commitment to challenging learners to achieve well
• Be a passionate, caring and inspirational teacher
• Be self-motivated and reliable
• Be enthusiastic about current research on thinking skills and building learning power.
