About this Role

Our experienced Head teacher and her supportive senior leadership team are looking for  Caretaker to join their support team.  This role is part time, working Monday – Friday, 20 hours per week. The working pattern can be flexible with the following working hours available, Split shift to include opening and locking up with the hours being as follows, 06.30-08.30 and 16.30-18.30 or the afternoon shift which would be 14.30-18.30.  This contract is term time only plus 3 additional weeks, as required by the school.  

Key responsibilities include:

·         Ensuring the premises and grounds are safe, warm, clean and properly maintained.

·         Movement of heavy goods.

·         Cleaning responsibilities including supervision, organisation and monitoring of cleaners, ordering cleaning materials, clearing of paths, drains, gullies etc. and salting frozen paths.

·         Maintenance duties including general handyperson repairs to furniture and fabric, reporting when more major repairs are required, directing contractors.
