Batley Multi Academy Trust’s sole purpose is to provide a great education for Primary and Secondary learners throughout a local family of schools. Batley Multi Academy Trust currently comprises Batley Girls’ High School, Upper Batley High School, Batley Grammar School, Healey Junior, Infant and Nursery School, Field Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School and Manorfield Infant and Nursery School. We provide high quality education for all young people. This collaboration enables us to share expertise, knowledge and best practice to ensure academic and pastoral excellence throughout all of our schools, with all schools embracing the same overall ethos and values, whilst maintaining their own unique characters. 

We are seeking to appoint a Caretaker to join the team on a permanent basis to cover absence and be responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and safety of school premises. The successful applicant will have considerable experience of site maintenance, grounds maintenance and/ or site security or equivalent, experience of operating tools and equipment and be a good team player.

The post holder will be required to work flexibly across different school sites in Batley where required and be able to work early/ late shifts and out of school hours. It is essential that you have a full/ clean driving license and have access to a car.
