About Alban Wood Primary School and Nursery
On 1st September 2017 we became an academy and joined the Herts for Learning Multi Academy Trust. From September 1st 2019 the Trust changed its name to Agora Learning Partnership. For information about the trust please visit their website.
Alban Wood Primary School and Nursery is a busy and stimulating place to learn, where individual talents are nurtured and achievements celebrated. We have high expectations of all children in all aspects of school life. We have set out to create a school that provides great care for our children with the highest expectations for what they can achieve. We believe there are no limits to our children’s potential, priding ourselves on working collaboratively to ensure the varying needs across the school are met.
The ethos we aim to create is based on our school values: Respect, Kindness and Ambition.
We have worked hard to make Alban Wood Primary School and Nursery a positive and happy school community. Our children are keen and enthusiastic to learn, enjoying the numerous and varied extra-curricular opportunities that we offer.
