About Biddenham International School and Sports College
Biddenham International School and Sports College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, 11 - 19 secondary international school with sixth form, situated in Biddenham in Bedfordshire. There are 917 students on the school roll, of whom 251 students are enrolled on 16 to 19 study programmes.
Biddenham International School and Sports College is part of the Biddenham Campus Trust which is made up of Great Denham Primary School, Westfield Middle School and The PLACE Support Programme, a unit for elective home-educating families.

Biddenham International School and Sports College believes that successful schools enable students to overcome any negative feelings they might have arising from the compulsory nature of schooling and achieve high levels of motivation and engagement in learning and achieve excellence. It also believes this excellence is achieved through providing high-quality learning experiences and through excellent teaching.
The secondary school aims for students to demonstrate the following through their learning: self-awareness, self-confidence and self-respect; both self-reliance and the ability to work collaboratively; high levels of motivation and engagement; high levels of achievement.

“Leaders, including governors, have high expectations for pupils. They rigorously monitor teaching and learning and provide effective training. This has led to teaching which is typically good. Pupils currently at the school are making good progress in mathematics and English. Progress in all other subjects is improving rapidly. Pupils have a positive attitude towards their learning. They arrive to lessons promptly. The sixth form provides a good education for pupils. The progress of pupils following academic courses is improving.”
