As the proud headteacher of Cranfield Church of England Academy, I would like to welcome you to our website where I hope that, as well as finding all of the information you need, you will gain an insight into the life and learning in our wonderful school.
Cranfield Academy is a large three-form entry lower school and nursery (2-9 years), based over two sites serving the growing Bedfordshire village of Cranfield. As a church school, inspired by the Diocese of Saint Alban's Motto of “Living God's Love", the sense of family, love and care is tangible. In our Academy, children are at the centre of everything we do. Through a Christian, values-based ethos, the very best outcomes - spiritually, morally, socially, culturally, physically and academically are brought to life in the very best way, allowing children to flourish and live life in all its fullness.
Children are inspired to learn and develop a genuine love of learning. Relationships are nurturing, warm and supportive and there is a real sense of fun, love and laughter which pervades the whole school. Behaviour is exemplary and children are actively encouraged to demonstrate the greatest of courtesy in their interactions with others.
Our dynamic team of staff act as exemplary role models, educating and nurturing each child, enabling them to achieve high standards, whilst also enabling them to become capable, caring and confident human beings to live in and contribute to our diverse society.
We maintain a real and genuine commitment to working in partnership with our parents and carers and the growing community.
