About Kempston Academy
Kempston Academy is based in Kempston, Bedford and we are very proud that we serve the local community. Our vision is to create a school that everyone is proud of and one which inspires individuals, enables success and provides opportunities for all.
Our core aim is to provide students with a wide variety of opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom. The acquisition of as many skills and experiences as possible whilst at Kempston Academy allows students to take charge of their own destinies. The school’s ambitions and expectations for all its students are the same, regardless of background, prior achievements or ambition – we will challenge, support and develop all our students to excel.
Our students flourish due to the encouragement we all give as an energetic and caring school community with high expectations. Our strength is to provide exceptional opportunities to succeed through a modern and effective curriculum and a first class team of teachers and other professional staff.
This ambition has seen us rapidly improve year on year, and has culminated in not only improved results, behaviour and attendance, but in the school gaining the OFSTED rating of GOOD in 2018.
