About Lambourn CofE Primary School

Welcome to Lambourn CofE Primary School. This website gives you just a glimpse into the rich and diverse life of this distinctive school – we are a school with both a preschool and a nursery providing a distinctively Christian education for our children. Situated in the stunning Lambourn Downs, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the school grounds are extensive, providing plenty of room for outdoor experiences and learning, we even have our own heated swimming pool!

Our school is a place where Staff, Governors, Excalibur- our Multi Academy Trust, our Church and Local Community work closely together to ensure we put the children at the heart of everything we do.  The children come first, they are central to every decision we make. We strive to ensure our children are happy and successful; they grow, during their time with us, to be ambitious, aspirational and resilient. Our talented teachers inspire and motivate children, encouraging scholarship, intellectual curiosity, independent thought and effective learning behaviours to enable them to ‘Let their Light Shine’. Staff work with energy and enthusiasm delivering a varied and creative curriculum that makes use of our incredible outdoor environment and the resources within the wider community. We use a variety of motivational learning resources and teaching approaches. All of this makes Lambourn CofE Primary School an exceptional place to learn and work.
