About Lawnside Academy
Lawnside Academy is an Ofsted Good lower school located in the town of Biggleswade, and a proud member of the Bedfordshire Schools Trust (BEST).
There are around 200 children in our school (from Reception to Year 4). They are at the heart of everything we do and each day our hard-working staff strive to improve the provision, opportunities and experiences that we offer our children.
Lawnside is a values-based school; developing children's social and relationship skills that will last throughout their lives.
While we are currently a lower school, in September 2024 we will be converting to a primary school as part of a transition from three-tier to two-tier education in the wider geographical area.
