The National College for Motorsport was the first college in the UK to achieve the Motorsport Academy Employer Recognition Scheme Charter Mark for the training of race mechanics.  The scheme was introduced in 2007 to ensure that training providers deliver quality and industry relevant training.

By studying with the National College for Motorsport, not only will you be based in the heart of UK Motorsport at the Silverstone Circuit, but you will also have the opportunity to join an intensely practical course delivered by former professional race mechanics learning about current race vehicle preparation techniques.

Currently, the National College for Motorsport offers full time Race Technician Pre-apprenticeship courses, as well as Apprenticeships with UK based race teams.
