Building First Class Futures
Putteridge
High School is a mixed non-selective academy with an exciting future and we
would like you to join us! We are on our way from ‘good’ to ‘outstanding’
and have a new building with First Class facilities. We are a
leading school in the Chiltern Learning Trust, working alongside other schools
to drive standards up and provide a First Class learning experience for our
students.
We are a growing school, currently with over 1153 students on roll, with 25% FSM and 38% EAL. We are proud to be a school offering exciting, progressive learning opportunities to students from all backgrounds and abilities. We are very excited about our new school build which we recently moved into. The build includes a new sports hall, of which facilities will be available for use by with wider community.
Vision
Putteridge High School is committed to providing a
First Class education for all our students to ensure we help our student in Building First Class Futures.
CITIZENSHIP embodies our drive to develop polite, purposeful and productive citizens of the future who contribute positively to their local community and beyond.
LEARNING is facilitated by inspirational
teaching that builds upon individual strengths and empowers students to achieve
their potential. Students are dedicated to improvement and progress in
both their classwork and home learning.
ASPIRATIONS held by students are high and
celebrated through our culture of reward. Wide-ranging opportunities encourage
all to grow beyond the limits of their expectations.
STANDARDS of personal conduct, behaviour and manners are exceptional. Our
students have excellent attendance as a result of our safe, friendly and
nurturing learning environment that is built upon mutual respect for all.
SCHOOL OF CHOICE for our parents, carers and the local community
as a result of promoting a quality learning experience and exceptional
outcomes; the students who attend and leave our school are first CLASS role
models who are resilient and valued members of society.

For new

running of our school. We are also proud of the way in which our students take
the opportunities offered to them and benefit from their participation in
