About St Michael's Pre-school
At St. Michael's Pre-school we offer the highest standards of Pre-school care and education. We provide a safe, happy and stimulating environment where children are given plenty of opportunities to develop to their full potential at their own pace.
The ethos of our Pre-school is 'learning through play'. We enjoy close links with the main Primary School (St Michael’s School) and with the Reception teacher to ensure continuity and progression throughout the Foundation Stage.
Through play, children are able to express themselves and explore their environment, often describing and discussing what they are doing but also being reflective and quiet in their play. Our staff help the children extend and develop their spontaneous play and offer them planned play-based activities.
