Woodside is a one form entry primary school with a 30 hour nursery. It is set in beautiful grounds overlooking fields and farmland to the rear, giving it a truly rural feel. The school was opened in 1972 and we opened our purpose-built nursery building in 2014. 

We have a huge field for the children to play and have sports lessons on, as well as two sizeable playgrounds for Key Stage 1 and 2, both with age appropriate climbing frames. Our nursery and reception children enjoy well equipped outside areas for their learning and development. Our grounds include plenty of space for outside learning with a wildlife area, allotment and outdoor classroom, which all children benefit from using.
