About Better Together Learning Trust
The Better Together Learning Approach
There is a strong belief throughout the academies and schools with Better Together Learning Trust that students will develop and progress as a result of valuing every contribution from its staff, family members and those in the wider community. The student voice is critical to the success of each academy and school and decisions will be informed wherever possible by taking into account the experiences and views of students in whatever form that takes. The Trust has developed a curriculum that is challenging and innovative and informed by best available evidence. This is informed through creating the capacity and willingness to develop all staff to strive for excellence.
We enjoy working together to ensure that all children are provided with the best possible experiences within a safe and happy environment. Our constant focus - Every Child, Every Chance, Every Day, permeates through everything that we do. You would be joining a Multi Academy Trust formed in November 2017 that was formed through the opening of a new Free Special School that opened in Sept 2020. We are currently two schools but work collaboratively with schools in the area to ensure that all students are supported and developed as part of inclusive and positive partnerships.
All central services: Finance, HR & Operations, IT and Governance are provided by a centralised team each led by an expert professional in their own field enabling the schools to focus on teaching and learning.
