About Diocese of Hereford Multi Academy Trust
Thank you for your interest in coming to work for the
Diocese of Hereford Multi-Academy Trust.
Our Trust stretches from
the foot of Eastnor castle to the Shropshire
Hills, from the Welsh border to the threshold of the Malvern’s. We are a family of 20 wonderful schools
which are spread out across the Diocese of Hereford (Herefordshire, South
Shropshire and Worcestershire).
Effective education is underpinned by people, so we employ a highly skilled team of school
leaders, teachers and support staff, who
work in our schools each day to make a real difference to the lives of our 3000
children and young people. Education is a process of daily real-life
transformation which enables our children and young people to truly live a life
in all its fullness.
We are looking for positive, motivated people who are
interested in making a real difference for children and families. We are
developing the school leaders and experienced teachers of the future through
deep collaboration and effective professional development. We value our support
staff, as they play a critical role in ensuring each child fulfils their full
potential, and enjoys many happy years in
schools which enable them to flourish.
The Church of England has been engaged in education work
within our communities for 200 years but the education we offer in 2023 is
underpinned by latest pedagogy and research practice. We offer an excellent
support package for our employees, which includes a fantastic Employee Assistance Programme, Cycle to Work and paid Blue Light card. We
believe that a healthy balance between work and family life is the key to an
effective team. We also provide creative opportunities to develop
professionally through work across a wide range of schools with outstanding
education practitioners. We offer nursery, primary and secondary education
across our trust and we are proud of the partnerships that exist across the
different phases and different types of schools.
We work hand in glove with the Hereford Diocese in
delivering a rich curriculum offer and vibrant teaching for every single child,
rooted firmly within our local communities. Our Trust
family includes two secondary schools and 17 primaries. We offer education in
small rural primaries to larger schools in our market towns and cathedral city. Our schools are located in some of the most beautiful countryside in England,
nestled in the Welsh borders of Shropshire,
Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
